METHOD FOR CONTROLLING PAID INFORMATION SERVICE OF DIGITAL INFORMATION TRANSMISSION SYSTEM

PURPOSE: A method for controlling a paid information service is provided to supply a digital information without charge by counting the number of times of transmissions of paid digital information in case that a user wants to receive digital information provided or sold from a network. CONSTITUTION: The number of times of transmission of stored music files is counted(S300).A judgment is made on whether a set reference count value is less than a comparison count value. In case that the reference count value is less than the comparison count value, a message for informing that the user can receive a music file without charge is transmitted to a user's terminal(S320, S330). A judgment is made on whether the user selects the music file for downloading the file without charge(S340). If the user selects the music file, the selected music file is downloaded and the reference count value is initialized(S350).
