PURPOSE: An optical transmission switching apparatus for transmitting a nonstop type broadcasting signal capable of having an optimal communication state by sensing a state of an optical signal transmission network according to an optical signal having a broadcasting signal transmitted from an optical transmitter are provided. CONSTITUTION: In an optical transmission switching apparatus for transmitting a nonstop ype broadcasting signal, at least one light source is connected to a light signal transmission network and generates at least one light signals. At least one optical signal processor(01) is connected to a light signal transmission network and outputs at least one light signal from at least one light source. At least one light signal switch switches at least one light signal from the at least one optical signal processor(01). An identification code generator for generating and supplying identification codes of at least one light source to a controller. A light output and wavelength measuring section senses a light output and wavelength to obtain equality of a signal, and displaying equality information of the signal. A controller sets an error detecting circumstance of at least one optical signal processor(01), and senses an operating state of the light signal transmission network.
