PURPOSE: An apparatus for checking a base station in a DECT(Digital European Cordless Telecommunication) system is provided to monitor the conditions of all base stations in a simple manner, by checking the stations during reception time of a dummy channel that is not used in the system, and outputting the data of the checked conditions to the system. CONSTITUTION: A check part(21) periodically checks the state of a base station(20). A base station circuit(22) finds out the time for receiving the dummy channel from FP(Fixed Part) data. The FP data is sent from a DECT system(30). The base station circuit(22) outputs the data which is related to the state of the base station(20) and applied from the part(21) to the system(30). A data analysis part(31) finds out the data about the state thereof from the data output to the system(30), and analyzes the found data. A memory(32) stores the data analyzed by the part(31). A DECT system circuit(33) reports the state of the base station(20) to an external unit, referring to the data stored in the memory(32) when it requests the check of the state.
