PURPOSE: A pinion assay of an inertia motor is provided to form an impact absorbing member with a material which is not easily deformed to reduce an impact on a pinion assay when it is mated with a ring gear, and prevent a slip from being caused between a cover and a T-spline. CONSTITUTION: An impact absorbing member of a compressive coil spring type is inserted into a pinion assay to reduce an engagement impact applied on the pinion assay which is engaged with a ring gear of an inertia motor. Embossed parts(40) which correspond to each other are formed on an inner peripheral surface of a cover of the pinion assay and on an outer peripheral surface of a T-spline(4). The T-spline(4) assembled inside the cover is engaged with the cover to be rotated. A slip preventing unit is installed on the cover of the pinion assay and on the T-spline(4) to prevent a slip. The slip preventing unit are formed with a spline tooth form and a helical tooth form.
