PURPOSE: Among a shape of a horizontal deflection coil and a shape of vertical deflection coil, one is made curvilinear shape and the other is made linear shape to decrease an overlapped part. So a stray capacitance is decreased. CONSTITUTION: A horizontal deflection coil(21) of a deflection york for braun tube have an electron beam side(a), a middle side(b), a screen side(c). In the electron beam side(a), if an outside section of the horizontal deflection coil(21) is made curvilinear shape, an inside section of a vertical deflection coil(22) is made linear shape. Also in the screen side(c), if the outside section of the horizontal deflection coil(21) is made linear shape, the inside section of a vertical deflection coil(22) is made curvilinear shape. So a stray capacitance, which is occurred in proportion to the facing surfaces and in inverse proportion to a distance between two facing surfaces, is decreased.
