PURPOSE: A rotary type power adjusting device which can on/off the power for a suction motor and changes the suction force by simply rotating a power adjusting nob, by installed in rateable manner to the main body of a vacuum cleaner is provided so that operation of a power switch is easy, and efficient and convenient cleaning is possible. CONSTITUTION: A rotary type power adjusting device is formed of a mounted PCB(40)where a rheostat is attached, on the upper part(30) of the main body(10), a nob guide(60) of which nob axis(61) passes through the rheostat to slide volume(80) on the upper cover(20) over the main body, and a power adjusting nob(70) which rotates the nob guide. The rotary type power adjusting device has advantages of easy operation of power on/off and suction force adjustment, assembling, and desirability for preventing the PCB from breakages.
