PURPOSE: A circuit is provided to reduce power without adding a layer process performing for the second threshold voltage in a circuit having the first threshold voltage and the second threshold voltage of a level higher than the first threshold voltage. CONSTITUTION: The circuit includes a standby power reducing circuit(100) and a circuit(200) comprising a switching circuit. Predetermined first power voltage, second power voltage, first ground voltage and second ground voltage from the outside are applied to the standby power reducing circuit. The standby power reducing circuit outputs a predetermined N well voltage in response to a signal(SL) informing a slip mode. A power voltage and an N well voltage from the standby power reducing circuit are applied to the circuit(200). The circuit(200) is operated with one threshold voltage level of the first threshold voltage and the second threshold voltage having a threshold voltage the level of which is different from the first threshold voltage in response to the signal(SL). The standby power reducing circuit is composed of shift circuits and a switching circuit. The shift circuits receive the first and second power voltages and the first and second ground voltages and output at least one voltage of the voltages to the circuit(200). The switching circuit selects output paths of the voltages from the shift circuits in response to the signal(SL).
