摘要 PURPOSE: A control method for a suspension is provided to enhance riding comfort and traveling stability at the same time by increasing earthing force between a road and wheels, with a control logic changing a damper according to vibration and frequency from the road. CONSTITUTION: A riding comfort control logic consists of a road calculating unit(37) calculating a road state based on data from a vehicle acceleration sensor; a road frequency rate calculating unit(38) calculating road frequency with the output of the road calculating unit; a road surface size calculating unit(39) calculating the surface size of the road with the output of the road calculating unit; and a damper state deciding unit(40) deciding the state of a damper with the output of the road frequency rate calculating unit and the road surface calculating unit. Thus, the control logic selects an optimal attenuating force curve from the vertical acceleration sensor to control riding comfort and steering stability at the same time. Then, attenuating force is increased depending on the road frequency rate and the road state to minimize vibration.
