DEVICE FOR PREVENTING THEFT OF OUTDOOR UNIT FOR AIR CONDITIONER

PURPOSE: A device for preventing a theft of an outdoor device for an air conditioner is provided not to use the lost outdoor device when the outer device is stolen. CONSTITUTION: A separated-typed air conditioner comprises of: a remote controller(40) to transmit by establishing data of secrete number to input the secrete number into an indoor device and an outdoor device; a microcomputer of inner device to input the secrete number into the indoor device by receiving the data of secrete number transmitted from the remote controller; and a microcomputer of outdoor device to input the secrete number into the outdoor device by receiving the data of secrete number transmitted through a communication line(30) from the microcomputer of indoor device. Thereby if the secrete number is not conformed, the air conditioner is not operated, so the lost outdoor unit is unable to use.
