PURPOSE: A snap ring for fixing a plug is provided to easily detachably mount the snap ring and maintain stable fixed state of a shaft or a plug when the shaft or the plug is fixed at a limited space. CONSTITUTION: A snap ring(10) for fixing a plug includes a plug groove insertion part(11) inserted into a groove of the plug for fixing the plug, a case hanging part(12) hanging on the upper end protrusion(31) of the case for fixing the plug, a separation prevention part inserted into a vertical groove(22) of the plug and inserted into the space between the case for preventing the snap ring from being separated, and both lodging parts formed at both end parts to be lodged on both end protrusion parts(23) for being temporarily assembled.
