PURPOSE: A Korean language input method of a mobile communication terminal installs a consonant/vowel conversion key of Korean language to a terminal left side, and makes the user easily perform a character input by using his two hands. CONSTITUTION: A Korean language input method sets a character input mode for setting a character input mode if a mode selection key is selected. If the character input mode is set, the method displays a character input initial screen. The method detects a key input, and circularly controls a sequence of a character input in the order of a consonant and a vowel according to the key input. If the character input sequence is determined, the method reads a corresponding character element set in the input key. Then, the method displays the read character element. Thereby, the user easily input a certain character through a simple key manipulation.
