PURPOSE: An internet TV supporting Java environments is provided to process applet type internet data as well as HTML documents on internet by supporting a Java operating system. CONSTITUTION: A CPU(10) of a RISC series to execute a command of about 200Mips executes commands for the operations of the whole system. A main memory part(20) executes a program using system clocks. A flash memory(30) stores a Java operating system, an application program, a booting program, and a web browser. A control signal generation part(40) generates and sends control signals to control each component. A graphics VGA part(50) outputs internet graphics data in the RGB form. An NTSC encoder(60) converts the RGB data outputted from the graphics VGA part(50) into a format suitable for a TV form. An input part(70) transfers a user's request to the system. A modem part(80) processes data through a generic telephone line at a high speed.
