PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for controlling display of world time on a digital mobile are provided by which a user can confirm the current time of any city of any country even though the user do not have a watch. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for controlling display of world time on a digital mobile includes a means for setting and storing a system time detected from a synchronous channel message received from the base station of a CDMA system as a reference time, and a means for initializing counting for lapse of time right after setting of the reference time. The apparatus further has a memory(112) for storing Greenwich times of cities of countries, a controller(111) for calculating the time of a city selected by a user based on the Greenwich time of the city, the reference time and the counted time, and a display(123) for displaying the calculated time. |
