PURPOSE: A latch housing for hard disk drive is provided to decrease the badness rate of a product by fixing a latching housing on a lower yoke including a safe receipt asperity. CONSTITUTION: A contact asperity(112) having a uniform distance is formed to a certain portion of an upper surface of a plate(110). The contact asperity(112) is formed for installing a latch housing(100) on a lower yoke(132) and contacting a lower surface of an upper yoke(131). An iron sheet installed to a side portion of an actuator bobbin is contacted to one side of the contact asperity(112). A slot(113) having a uniform depth is formed to a center portion of the contact asperity(112). Safe receipt asperities(115,116) are formed to a certain portion of a lower surface of the plate(110). Safe receipt asperities(132b,132c) are formed to a position corresponding to safe receipt asperities(115,116).
