WIDEBAND DUPLEX WIRE & WIRELESS COMMUNICATION TERMINAL EQUIPMENT FOR GROUP SUBSCRIBER

PURPOSE: A broadband bidirectional wire/wireless communication terminal for a clustered subscriber is provided to serve a clustered subscriber a high speed broadband bi-directional wire/wireless data communication as well as the existing service by connecting to radio base station in wireless multiple access method or connecting to a head-end of cable TV network via coaxial cable in wire multiple access method. CONSTITUTION: An RF modem is multi-accessed to outside, generates and transmits test data, and receives the data in order to determine whether the connection state is proper, or loops back the test data transmitted from outside and retransmits the data. An emergency switching function processing part is comprised of a WLL(Wireless Local Loop) RF modem and PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) line interface part. A baseband processing part performs a digital signal processing such as a channel encoding and decoding. A subscriber terminal interface part is comprised of an ISDN(Integrated Services Digital Network) terminal signal processing part, DATA terminal signal processing part, analog terminal signal processing, and video terminal signal processing part, and performs interfacing with various subscriber terminals.
