PURPOSE: A cathode ray tube panel and a method for forming coating layer on the cathode ray tube panel is provided to improve a resolution of image by having a coating layer on the surface of image forming part. CONSTITUTION: A cathode ray tube panel(50) includes an image forming part. A fluorescent layer(51) is coated on the inside of the image forming part. An aluminum layer is laminated on the upper plane of the fluorescent layer(51). At the outside plane of the image forming part is successively laminated a diffused reflection, an electric current membrane and a SiO2 membrane. The electric current membrane consists of In2O3, and an uneven part is formed on the surface of the diffused reflection. An electron gun(63) injects an electronic beam. The beam passes through the electronic beam perforation of shadow mask(71) which is supported by frame(41). The image irradiates out the image forming part by a diffused reflection, an electric current membrane and a SiO2 membrane.
