ATM SWITCH FABRIC DEVICE USING NON-BLOCKING SWITCH MATRIX

PURPOSE: An ATM switch fabric device using a non-blocking switch matrix is provided to variably connect N fixed switch ports with M user interface ports by using the non-blocking switch matrix, so as to allocate ports according to data occupancies or depending on whether other ports are used. CONSTITUTION: An ATM switch fabric outputs N data toward a switch matrix. The switch matrix inputs the N data from the ATM switch fabric. A user interface output port receives M data from the switch matrix. Another user interface output port transmits the M data toward the switch matrix.
