PURPOSE: A structure for absorbing impact to an airbag housing is provided to absorb head impact to a housing bracket in case of sudden braking or vehicle bump accident while traveling at a low speed. CONSTITUTION: A structure for absorbing impact to an airbag housing contains a housing bracket(10) for fixing a housing and a supporting bracket(30) combined to the lower surface of the housing bracket by using a fixing bolt(20) and a nut(50) for supporting the housing bracket by being fixed to a cross member(40). Herein, a wrinkled guide aperture(12) is formed in the housing bracket for having plural notch units(14). Therefore, the round shaped notch units of the housing bracket absorb impact indirectly by hanging the notch units to the fixing bolt while moving the housing bracket caused by the impact. |
