PURPOSE: A preparation method of a young antler wine by mixing a young antler and a specified Chinese herbal medicine with spirits of wine adequately is provided which can remove a peculiar bloody smell exhaling from a young antler component and extract effective medical components from the Chinese herbal medicine. CONSTITUTION: A method for making a young antler wine comprises: (a)mixing 40-60 pts.wt. of dried young antler with 900-1,100 pts.wt of spirits of wine; (b)aging for 2-3 months in a state of sealing up at 10-18°C; (c)leaving for 1-2 days in a state of opening; (d)mixing 40-50 wt. parts of barrenwort, 40-60 pts.wt. of root of Acanthopanax sieboldianus and 40-60 wt. parts of eucommia bark and sealing hermetically; (e)aging for more than one month at 10-18°C. The method can remove a peculiar bloody smell exhaling from a young antler component and extract effective medical components from the Chinese herbal medicine.
