PURPOSE: A method for measuring a gap of a welded material by image process is provided to measure a gap according to a laser band of image lines by using a bisection method after finding accurately a welding point. CONSTITUTION: A method for measuring a gap of a welded material by image process comprises the steps of: performing(103) a first processing for measuring a welding point by obtaining an image of a welded material; determining(104) whether the obtained welding point is a normal pattern or not; removing a noise by filtering the welding point if the obtained welding point is a normal pattern; and investigating a laser band by a bisection method after measuring a final welding point and performing(106) a second processing for measuring a gap point.
