PURPOSE: A structure for a large area LCD and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to improve the productivity of a large area LCD and reduce a mask cost for manufacturing a small type LCD panel by connecting panels produced through one manufacturing process. CONSTITUTION: The first substrate has a data bus line pad unit(12) in an upper side and an output unit of a scan line driving IC and a gate bus line pad unit(11) in the left side. Another first substrate has a data bus line pad unit(22) in an upper side and a gate bus line pad unit(21) in the right side. Another fist substrate has a data bus line pad unit(32) in a lower side and a gate bus line pad unit(31) in the left side. The final first substrate has a data bus line pad unit(42) in a lower side and a gate bus line pad unit(41) on the right side.
