PURPOSE: A high speed gray printer complex device is provided to print gray data at high speed by performing a signal process by transmitting gray data in parallel in a printer complex device capable of adjusting a position and a size of a printer dot in accordance with gray data. CONSTITUTION: A memory(21) stores a bitmap font corresponded to data outputted a PC or a complex device. A microcomputer control unit(22) reads a bitmap font of data corresponded to data received from the PC or the complex device by receiving a line sink(s3) and a video clock(s4), and outputs a parallel video data(s8). A complex unit having a scanner or a facsimile(23) receives synchronizing signals of the line sink(s3) and the video clock(s4), and outputs parallel gray data. An RET unit(24) outputs the line sink signal and the video clock signal by receiving a beam detecting signal(s2), and receives the parallel gray data outputted from the micro computer control unit(22) and the complex unit having a scanner or a facsimile(23), and converts and outputs the data for printing as a gray. An engine(25) outputs the beam detecting signal(s2) and receives video data outputted from the RET unit(24) and prints the video data.
