PURPOSE: A magnetic tape cassette tape reel is provided to automatically discharge dust generated in a magnetic tape cassette to outside of a cassette housing. CONSTITUTION: The tape reel is formed by a disk typed reel up(43u), and a disk typed reel down combined to the reel up while having a hub for winding up a tape. Herein, the hub contains a mounting groove. On upper surface of the reel up, and on lower surface of the reel down, protruded ribs(41r) are formed to inducing air flow to a specific direction. Herein, the protruded ribs(41r) on the upper surface of the reel up are inclined to the discharging direction of air.
