PURPOSE: A clutch is provided to reduce a load applying to a drain pump when the power of a driving motor is transferred to a pulsator and an inner tub. CONSTITUTION: A clutch for a washing machine is installed with: a brake lever to bind or to remove a gear housing by connecting in a drain pump; a clutch lever to bind or to remove a clutch boss with a cam installed in one end by interlocking with the brake lever; the brake lever(99) and the clutch lever(98) installed on the same shaft(99a); returning springs(99b)(98c) to offer the returning force in the brake lever(99) and the clutch lever(98) in the shaft(99a). Therefore, the brake lever(99) and the clutch lever(98) are operated and returned at the same time. |
