PURPOSE: An organic electroluminescent display apparatus and a method for fabricating the same are provided to be capable of decreasing the voltage drop generated in an electrode strip direction and response time by connecting electrodes to an external driver through conductive contact holes. CONSTITUTION: An organic electroluminescent device consists of a first electrode(16), an organic electroluminescent layer(17), a second electrode(18) sequentially formed on a small transparent substrate(15). A first casing(12) supports the organic electroluminescent devices so that the organic electroluminescent devices are arrayed. A second casing(13) has a plurality of conducting contact holes(19) and connects the first/second electrode(16,18) to an external corresponding driver(14) through the contact holes(19).
