PURPOSE: A structure for reducing noise is provided to efficiently absorb the noise energy generated as refrigerant gas is discharged through a hole of a main bearing when acting a closed type rotary compressor as well as to improve the noise transmission loss of a suction muffler. CONSTITUTION: A structure for reducing noise has an isolation wall(6) for a channel to completely isolate a channel in a suction muffler(4) to make the refrigerant gas passing a hole of a main bearing (2) flow in one direction. The suction muffler absorbs the noise energy in the refrigerant gas as the refrigerant gas is repeatedly expanded and compressed when the refrigerant gas passes the inside space formed between the main bearing and the suction muffler. Therefore, the compressor efficiently reduces noise by increasing the noise transmission loss of the suction muffler.
