RADIO INTERFACE UNIT OF WIDEBAND WIRELESS LOCAL LOOP SYSTEM EQUIPPED WITH A V.34 STANDARD MODEM FUNCTION

PURPOSE: A radio interface unit is provided to perform telephone and data communications in a wireless local loop as well as data communications in a local loop by adding the CODEC supporting the V.34 to the RIU of the W-WLL system. CONSTITUTION: A switching module(43) outputs the CDMA-decoded communication data to modules for telephone and data communications or outputs data from the modules to a CDMA modulation module(42) or V.34 CODEC(48). an AT command process module(45) provides a function of a modem during a serial data communication. A serial data communication connection module(46) transmits data to a personal computer(PC) or to the CDMA modulation module(43) during a data communication in a wireless local loop and transmits the data to the V.34 CODEC(48) in a local loop. The V.34 CODEC(48) transmits the data of the CDMA of the serial data communication connection module(46) to a switching system or to the serial data communication connection module(46) through V.34 encoding or V.34 decoding.
