METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY CONTROLLING ELECTRIC POWER OF PRINTER

PURPOSE: A method for controlling the electric power of a printer blocks the electric power fed to the printer in case of maintaining a standby state for a certain time to reduce consumed electric power. CONSTITUTION: A step(S100) for judging if feeding electric power to a printer while being in use, a step(S200) for a controller to judge if a printing command is transferred from an external apparatus, a step(S300) for feeding electric power for operating the printer in case of receiving the printing command, a step for blocking the electric power(S500) in case of completing(S400) the printing operating. Therefore the user of the printer automatically controls the electric power of the printer.
