PURPOSE: A method for recycling an exhausted lithium secondary battery is provided to recycle an exhausted lithium secondary battery by separating and extracting materials of the secondary battery. CONSTITUTION: A method for recycling an exhausted lithium secondary battery(S1) is followed below. A positive pole and a negative pole are separated from a lithium secondary battery, exhausted by a classification, a cutting of upper/lower section, centrifuging, and a handling classification. A mixture of an activating material, a conductive material, and a binding agent, which are cleared a current collector, is separated from the positive/negative poles by a dissolution of the binding agent, a stirring, a filtering, and a heat separation, and cutting. A positive pole activating material is separated from the mixture, and binds the positive activating material and a lithium, and processes by a heat. A separated positive activating material is processed electronically/chemically.
