PURPOSE: A memory managing method capable of efficiently using a recording area by deleting a page transmitted to a memory when a predetermined document is transmitted to a receiver without an error is provided. CONSTITUTION: In a memory managing method, a predetermined manuscript is scanned in order to transmit it to a receiver. The scanned data is stored in a memory. The data stored in the memory is transmitted to the receive. It is judged whether amount of the transmitted data is a set amount. When the amount of the transmitted data is the set amount, the data of the predetermine amount is deleted from the memory.
