PURPOSE: CODEC bypass method in a call processing between mobile terminals adds a service option indicating an originating subscriber's coding format to a message between mobile terminals, and bypasses a data if the coding format of the originating subscriber is identical with that of the terminating subscriber. CONSTITUTION: In a CODEC bypass method, the originating and terminating subscriber call processing blocks share a subscriber style and a service selection information. The method performs a transmission step toward the originating and terminating subscriber call processing block in order to share the subscriber format and the service selection information, thereby performing a bypass and trans-coding operation. Accordingly, a communication quality drop is prevented.
