PURPOSE: A heater for pipes is provided to effectively raise the surface temperature of a pipe as well as to reduce power consumption without danger of fire. CONSTITUTION: A heater for pipes raises the surface temperature of pipes through the steps of: raising the temperature of hot water in a water tank(20) is heated by a heating plate(22) if a vacuum pump(12) is started; transferring the heated water to a tube(24) through an inlet(24a); heating the tube with the hot water; raising the surface temperature of an exhaust line(16) by transferring the heat to the surface of the exhaust line; introducing the hot water to the water tank again through an outlet(24b) to heat the water; and continuing to circulate the hot water along the tube. The heater has the gain to heat pipes with a small amount of power and to prevent the problems such as the short circuit even if the heater is used for a long time as well as to reduce the maintenance costs.
