PURPOSE: A communication method is provided to enhance an entire communication speed with a reduction of a time loss of a master checking each of slaves by performing different communication controls of a master according to various communication states. CONSTITUTION: A method comprises the steps of: confirming generation of a response of a slave with respect to a query of a master of whether an error is generated in a first timeout set for a short-time period based on a data process speed of the slave; checking a next slave in accordance with a predetermined sequence by determining generation of a communication medium failure or a hardware defect of a slave if the response is not generated for the first timeout; and performing a different communication control in accordance with whether the response is normal or erroneous if the response is generated in the first timeout.
