BREAKAGE SENSOR OF METAL MOLD PUNCH

PURPOSE: A sensing device for the damage of a punching die is provided to rapidly repair the punching die once sensing the damage of the punching die. CONSTITUTION: A punching die (12) continuously molds products with a thin and long punch (2) on the bottom of a hydraulic plate (1). A punch holder (3) is installed on the hydraulic plate with an air passage (4) and an air passage (5) is connected with the air passage (4) in the punch holder. The punch is inserted into the punch holder with packing pieces (7) with an air chamber (6). A control valve (9) connected to an air supply portion (8), is flexibly installed in the air passage (4). A pressure switch (10) is installed between the air passage (4) and the control valve and connected to a relay (11) having an emergency stop function. Thus, air is supplied to the air chamber without air leakage due to the parking pieces. Then, air pressure is generated to operate the punching die and to mold products with the punch. When the punch is damaged, the pressure switch senses no air pressure and the relay stops the punching die and the air supply portion for replacing the punch.
