PURPOSE: A PSTN(Public Switched Telephone Network) having a splitter is provided to equip a splitter easily, and to decrease an equipment cost of the splitter by mounting the splitter at a connection part of an ATU-R(ADSL Transmission Unit at the Customer Promises) and the PSTN. CONSTITUTION: A splitter(200) for an ATU-R(ADSL Transmission Unit at the Customer Promises) is mounted at an inside of a jack(204). On the occasion of connecting the jack(204) to a general socket, a PSTN is connected to a connection terminal(C), and the connection terminal(C) is connected to the ATU-R through the splitter(200) for the ATU-R. At this time, the socket is connected to the PSTN. For this reason, a signal inputted from the PSTN is processed by the splitter(200) for the ATU-R. After this, the signal is offered to the ATU-R.
