PURPOSE: A winter-sowing prevention system is provided to prevent unnecessary fuel consumption and the generation of harmful gas and to prevent an accident due to system operation. CONSTITUTION: In a winter-sowing prevention system driving an engine for increasing the temperature of coolant to a predetermined temperature if the temperature of the coolant is less than the fixed temperature, the winter-sowing prevention system includes the steps of confirming on and off state of a winter-sowing prevention operation switch, confirming the state of gear compound, sensing whether the temperature of the coolant is less than the fixed temperature, turning on a starting switch for driving the engine to pass the fixed time, resensing the temperature of the coolant and stopping the driving of the engine if the temperature is more than the predetermined temperature, and increasing the temperature of the coolant by improving throttle position if the temperature is less than the predetermined temperature.
