PURPOSE: A method for detecting and manufacturing a duplication of a mobile communication service terminal is provided to detect and manage a duplication more correctly than using only a count comparison in case that a temporary duplicated secret or permanent secret key is generated. CONSTITUTION: In a method for detecting and manufacturing a duplication of a mobile communication service terminal, the first signed response and the first count value are transmitted from a terminal to a mobile communication network in a standby state. In the mobile communication network, the second signed response and the second count value corresponding to the terminal are calculated and compared to each other. If the signed response and the count value are conformed, the terminal is allowed to connect with the mobile communication network. If the signed response and the count value are not conformed, the respective signed responses are compared first. If the signed response is not conformed, the terminal is not allowed to connect with the network. A signed response unconformity process is performed for the terminal re-connected, and a connection of the terminal with the network is allowed or the duplication of the terminal is detected depending on the update result of the temporary secret key. If the signed response is conformed, the respective count values are compared. If the count value is not conformed, the connection of the terminal with the network is not allowed. A count unconformity process is performed for the terminal re-connected, and a connection of the terminal with the network is allowed or the duplication of the terminal is detected depending on the update result of the temporary secret key.
