PURPOSE: A fabrication method of a barrier rib is provided to increase efficiency of electric discharge of PDP by enlarging space of discharge. CONSTITUTION: The high reflection rate paste for a visible ray is applied to the upside of substrate (44) by using a screen printing method. And then, it is burned to incinerate an organism in the paste. The burned substrate is plastic deformed to manufacture a thick layer(52) for a barrier rib. A photoresist is apply to the thick film. Then it is exposed to the light for patterning. A first barrier rib(38a) is formed by etching on the patterned substrate to form a semicircle. An address electrode(32) is patterned on the first barrier rib by using a screen printing method. A paste is applied to the address electrode(32) and the first barrier rib. And that are plastic deformed to form a dielectric thick layer(48). A second barrier rib(38b) is formed by using a screen printing method, sand blast method, additive method and etching method on the dielectric layer. So that the first and the second barrier rib enlarge the discharge space. |
