PURPOSE: An intake system for improving engine output is provided to introduce air with a first intake unit under a normal operation condition and selectively supply additional air to increase engine output in case of a high speed travelling, thereby improving the engine performance. CONSTITUTION: An intake system for improving engine output includes a first intake unit(4) connected to a side of a surge tank and formed of an air cleaner, an air intake hose and a throttle body(10), a second intake unit(5) connected to the other side of the surge tank and formed of an air cleaner, an air intake hose and a throttle body(11), a first cable pulling roller for pulling a cable(14) operating the throttle valve of the first intake unit by acceleration pedal operation, and a second cable pulling roller rotating by adsorbed by the first cable pulling roller to pull a cable(25) for operating the throttle valve of the second intake unit when an operation switch is turned on.
