PURPOSE: A digital-to-analog converter is provided to improve a sampling bit number by reducing a noise effect, and to minimize an installation area of a panel of a liquid crystal display device by using a square wave voltage generating circuit. CONSTITUTION: A digital-to-analog converter comprises a square wave voltage generating part, an integral circuit, a discharge switch. The square wave voltage generating part generates a square wave voltage as a driving power supply voltage to be applied to a switching part(Q1). The integral circuit(160) inserts a resistor at a predetermined location between the switching part and a liquid crystal capacitor to then slice the square wave voltage applied via the switching part into a lamp voltage. The discharge switch(Q2) is turned on according to a control signal of a controller(40) to discharge accumulated at the liquid crystal capacitor.
