METHOD FOR LINE LENGTH ERROR REVISION BY UNIT IN FACSIMILE

PURPOSE: A method for correcting a line length error in a facsimile system is to correct a line length error by changing a rotation speed of a step motor, thereby obtaining a facsimile image stably. CONSTITUTION: A facsimile system comprises a step motor for feeding a facsimile document at a predetermined speed. A protocol between a calling facsimile system and a called facsimile system is exchanged(S3) and the called facsimile system's design unit and resolution are checked(S4). A rotation speed of the step motor is calculated using the checked design unit and resolution(S5). The step motor is driven at the calculated rotation speed and the facsimile document is scanned(S6). The scanned facsimile data is transmitted to the called facsimile system(S7). The called facsimile system receives and prints the received facsimile data.
