APPARATUS FOR DISCHARGE OF SLAG IN MELTING FURNACE

PURPOSE: A slag discharge apparatus for a melting furnace is provided to control the deposition of slag and to make easy the maintenance of a slag cooling system and a transfer system. CONSTITUTION: A slag discharge apparatus is composed of a slag discharge hole(10) installed on the bottom of a melting furnace(70), a slag cooling tub(3) with a bottom(31) installed on the lower part of the slag discharge hole, storing cooling water(40) filled up to the lower end part of the slag discharge hole and supported by a frame(110), a scraper(60) installed on the bottom in the cooling tub to push out the slag(20) deposited on the bottom toward one or both directions and reciprocating by an actuator(50) installed on the outer part of the cooling tub, and a rotary first and a second gates(90,100) installed in the slag discharge pipes(70) at a certain interval to control the discharge of the slag and operating by the actuator.
