摘要 PURPOSE: A metallic layer consisted of smaller elements than base metal's them between base metal and electron emission material layer, which causes negative electrode for electron gun to prolong because the metallic layer can efficiently diffuse the middle layer, high resistant layer, is provided. CONSTITUTION: A metallic layer(12) consisted of Ni and W, Ni-Zr, Zr-W, or Ni-W between base metal and electron emission material layer has smaller elements than base metal's them. That induces the route for the reducing elements contained at base metal to diffuse itself. So, the reaction of BaO-Si and BaO-Mg occur in many places within the particles of metallic layer(12), and the half after the reaction is restrained to stack up itself because the middle layer disperses. Thereby, the reducing elements, Si, Mg, diffuses well, and then Ba elements occurs. Because the concave part(12a) formed in the center of the metallic layer acts to increase the area at the boundary with electron emission material layer, the reducing elements diffuse well even though the middle is formed.
