PURPOSE: A laser diode module is provided to facilitate controlling a distance of optical axis between a collimator lens and a laser diode and to improve reliability for quality. CONSTITUTION: A diode module comprises a circuit substrate(100), a case(200) having a laser diode, a slider(300), a cylindrical body(410), a lens holder(400), a collimator lens and a lens fixture(500). The slider(300) has two flat guide planes formed in the right and left of an optical axis and a barrel-shaped guide plane formed in the center. The body(410) having a first groove with a big diameter and a second inserting groove with a small diameter for an inside from a front surface, is slidingly equipped in forward/backward on the barrel-shaped guide plate of the slider. The lens holer(400) has a guide board landing on the flat guide plane of the slider. The collimator lens is inserted in the second groove of the body. The fixture(500) for preventing movement of the lens is inserted in the first groove of the body. Because the collimator lens is bonded in the body by press-fit and an adhesive, process for manufacturing a screw is omitted and thereby the producing capability is improved.
