METHOD FOR MANAGING RECORDING/PLAYBACK OF AUDIO MENU DATA OF RE-RECORDABLE RECORDING MEDIUM

PURPOSE: A method for managing recording/playback of audio menu data of re-recordable recording medium is provided to simply compose a menu screen by guiding a content of a corresponding video aggregate as an audio. CONSTITUTION: If a recording mode for recording video data and audio data are selected by a user, the inputted data is encoded in an A/V encoder and the encoded data is controlled for being recorded in a recording medium(OD) through a digital signal processor and an analog signal processor(S11,S13). A control unit identifies as to whether the recorded data is satisfied with a condition(S15). The control unit controls devices for generating and recording a completed program and a menu item of a playback list(S17). The control unit identifies as to whether a recording request of a menu audio is existed(S19). The control unit controls devices for recording the input audio data in the identified region on the recording medium(S21). The control unit identifies as to whether an attribute of a current recorded menu audio is changed(S23). The current recorded menu audio is divided into a new menu audio group when the attribute of the current recorded menu audio is changed(S24). The current recorded menu audio is divided into a previous menu audio group when the attribute of the current recorded menu audio is not changed(S27).
