MULTI TARGET APPARATUS FOR BEAM IRRADIATION

PURPOSE: A multi target apparatus for a beam irradiation is provided to generate plural nuclidesus by running up and down plural target irradiation parts installed at a frame, and to prevent air from being contaminated radioactively by closely attaching a beam transfer pipe to a target irradiation part. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of target irradiation parts(10) generating a radioactive isotope as a beam passes through are installed at a frame(111). The frame is connected with a plate(112), and a ball screw(131) and a motor(132)run the plate up and down such that one of the target irradiation parts is located at a beam line passed through the beam path. A cylinder(121) and a guide bar(122)moves the frame forward and backward such that the target irradiation part at the beam line is closely attached to the beam path. A movement of the target irradiation parts exactly controlled by a limit switch(141).
