PURPOSE: A method simplifies the work by making the fabrication work of a PDP(Plasma Display Panel) in-line, and increases the exhaust efficiency and improves the productivity by reducing the consumption of a discharge gas and reduces the fabrication cost. CONSTITUTION: A method performs the exhaust and the gas injection by exhausting an impure gas inside a PDP(50) and a gas inside a chamber(60) separately by pressing an exhaust system to the PDP and injecting a discharge gas only into the inside of the PDP. A system includes: the chamber where a gate(63) is formed on both sides and a gas input hole(61) and a chamber exhaust hole(62) are formed on top and on bottom respectively; an align unit(64) aligning and supporting the PDP in the chamber; a gas injection/exhaust unit(65) where the exhaust and the gas injected are performed, being connected to the exhaust hole of the PDP; an exhaust part exhausting the impure gas inside the PDP and connected to the gas injection/exhaust unit; and a gas injection part injecting the discharge gas into the PDP and connected to the gas injection/exhaust unit.
