PURPOSE: A spacer of a stator for a compressor is provided to prevent a spacer from flowing between winders and to improve the insulating efficiency between a main winder and a supplementary one as well as to prevent the electric short of a compressor. CONSTITUTION: A rotor and a rotary axis are rotated around a magnetic field as currents are fed to a stator. Refrigerants in a cylinder are sucked and compressed through the eccentric rotation of a roller and a cam integrally revolved with the rotary axis. The compressed refrigerants are discharged through a discharge valve, then, vented through a discharge pipe after reducing the noise in a muffler. A spacer(20) has wrinkles on its upper and lower areas(21,22), and the grooves of the wrinkles are inserted into winders when covering the winders of a stator. Therefore, the flow of the spacer is prevented at the maximum after inserting the spacer.
