PURPOSE: A load measurer of a gear lifter is provided to reliably measure the load of the gear lifter even upon the temperature change inside a chamber by installing a load cell on a worm gear and attaching a displacement amount sensor to the worm shaft. CONSTITUTION: A load measurer comprises a guide shaft installed on a fixing wall of a vehicle; a worm shaft and a worm gear shaft(2,3) of which one side is inserted in the guide shaft and the other side is rotated by receiving the power of a motor(5); a fixing rig(6) for supporting the worm shaft and the worm gear shaft; a circumstance chamber(7) installed on one side of the worm gear; a support frame(8) installed in the circumstance chamber; a gear lifter(9) for giving a pressurizing load to the worm gear while moving to the right and the left; a regulator(11) for regulating the right and left or up and down movement of the gear lifter; an insulating plate(12) for preventing the heat of the gear lifter from being transferred to the worm gear; a load cell(13) for sensing the transfer of the pressurizing load of the gear lifter to the worm gear; a potentiometer(14) for outputting a voltage by sensing the rotational angle of the worm shaft receiving the pressurizing load; and a control box(15) for converting the voltage outputted from the potentiometer to a displacement amount and providing power to the motor. Thus, the load of the gear lifter is reliably measured even upon the temperature change inside the chamber.
