PURPOSE: Handle locking structure of a side door is provided to set installation position of a handle and operate conveniently by eliminating a locking rod with simple latch unit structure, and to improve assembling property and cut down a cost by reducing components. CONSTITUTION: A guide unit(20) having a guide groove(22) is movably combined with a hinge(24) between an operating lever(10) in a back face of a handle(100) and a key operation unit(40). A restricting piece(32) is inserted to the guide groove of the guide unit, longitudinally moved with controlling turn of the operating lever, and connected to an operation lever(34) to act a latch unit(120). A moving link(30) is connected to a locking rod(44) moving longitudinally according to rotation of a turning link(42) and connected to the turning link of the key operation unit. The operating lever is contacted to the restricting piece with turning, and the moving link is moved around the hinge of the guide unit. The operation lever connected to the latch unit is lifted, and the moving link is moved according to movement of the turning link of the key operation unit. The moving link does not turn in rotation of the operating lever while the restricting piece being separated from the operating lever by the moving link according to rotating the turning link.
